Organizations today increasingly rely upon new measures of detecting employee honesty. Such approachs including lie detectors, handwriting analysis, voice stress tests, have their supporters and detractors.

This thesis covers reasons why employers use these techniques, controversial issues centered around their use, legal implications, and their outlook in the employment setting.
