Abstract
This paper presents a linear load flow method which can be used for probabilistic load flow analysis. The method is based on least-square estimation. To estimate its accuracy in linear load flow calculations, the method and a previously developed linear load flow method are applied to a typical power system and the results evaluated. Comparable accuracy is noted.
