Abstract

The electromotive deposition, storage and dissolution of hydrogen upon carbon electrodes having real surface areas varying from one meter2/ gram to one-hundred ten meters2/ gram vas inves-tigated.

It has been found that a correlation exists between hydrogen storage and real area of the inner electrode. However, it has been further shown that storage of electromotive hydrogen is only for short periods of time, that is, several hours.
