Abstract
Ten objective functions are used in the regression of the vapor-liquid equilibrium (VLE) data for 247 binary systems with the Wilson equation and the obtained parameters are used in the prediction of the VLE behavior of 73 mufticomponent systems. Ail models except model 1 give good results with model 5 being the best one. The results also suggest that the accuracy of prediction is not very sensitive to the quality at the binary data involved. © 1984, American Chemical Society. All rights reserved.
