Figure 4.27: Successful addition using full adders. In the animation, the least significant full adder has inputs 1 and 1, and 0 for the Cin. It outputs S=0 and Cout=1. Then this Cout is fed into the second full adder, which has 1 and 0 as its inputs. It output S=0 and Cout=1.
