Abstract
The method of reflections was used to solve the steady state heat transfer problem for two concentric rings of spheres, all at equal surface temperature. The method results in a mathematical model for the three dimensional temperature profiles around the array of spheres. This model is used to develop an expression for heat transfer rate from the array. This work has resulted in a solution for dilute systems since no ring to ring interaction term was found.
