Abstract
A new procedure with feedback input is presented for identification of continuous-time systems. Using Lyapunov's direct method to prove it asymptotic stability. For the procedure to be applicable, it's assumed that all the state variables of the plant are accessible and that there is no measurement noise so the model reference scheme can be used to identify the parameters of the plant.
The procedure results in the convergence of every parameter of a model to the corresponding one of the system as the time approaching to infinite i.e. t→∞. Digital computer simulations are provided to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed scheme for the system.
