Abstract
An overview of the entire Army Research, Development, and Acquisition process is presented. The research, development, test and evaluation phases are detailed. Special emphasis is placed on the Army Producibility Engineering and Planning Program. Examples of the different elements of our Army Production program are described. Finally, the focal point during the transition, the Milestone III and the events surrounding it, are discussed.
