Abstract
A detailed study of NC, CNC and Engraving is presented. Engraving of letters of different sizes is done using the present technology in a CNC milling machine. This thesis also contains the design of a communication interface between Mark Century One Plus controller and different peripherals. Software for Engraving and Communication between the controller and a PC is developed. The generated NC code from software is simulated on the controller and the product is cut.
