Abstract

This thesis describes the results of a study of three types of uniformity correction schemes for an infrared camera. More specifically, a Datacube Image System was used to simulate the three uniformity correction schemes for a 320x244-element IR-CCD TV camera with PtSi Schottky-barrier detectors. The three uniformity correction schemes are: one-point uniformity correction with single background, one-point uniformity correction with multibackground and two-point uniformity correction. Datacube programs were developed for the three above uniformity correction schemes and some experimental results were obtained.
