Abstract

A miss of experiments were conducted to determine the efficiency of the sulfonation of chlorobenzene by equilmolar proportions of sulfuric acid in various organic media her azeotropic conditions. The efficiency of the system wan show to be tins dependent, and based upon the conditions used, yields of 20% were obtained.
