Abstract
slight modification of the existing plant procedure at the Fred'k. H. Levey Co. is described whereby greater and more consistent yields of ethyl benzyl aniline meta-sulfonic acid may be obtained.
Proof is presented that the Sulfonic acid group is in the meta position in the benzyl radical.
Ethyl benzyl aniline meta-sulfonic acid is investigated as regards absorption in the ultra violet.
