Abstract
As in most areas of scientific endeavor, the technology of Project Management has numerous devices and instruments available, through which a successful project is implemented. Matrix structures, Gantt and organization charts, product schedules, line balancing techniques, PERT and CPM are a few of the more prominent areas that are in use today. Definitions, discussions and analysis are presented of these devices which are providing project management with increased efficiency and effectiveness. Recommendations are provided regarding specific microcomputer hardware and software packages that can assist project managers in their varied endeavors.
