Abstract
The computerized manufacturing analysis course now being taught at New Jersey Institute of Technology, entitled 'Manufacturing Operations Analysis,' is described. The course encompasses various CAD/CAM topics such as NC, CNC, and Robotics and includes hands-on laboratory experiments. In addition, topics such as MRP, production planning and shop-floor control are examined through the use of microcomputer experiments using Visicalc, database management and other related software. The emphasis is on microcomputer applications, and this is attained through six computer experiments and three computer projects each of which is related to current manufacturing procedures.
