Abstract
An extended UNIFAC model that accounts for association effects is presented and applied to systems containingalcohols (paraffinic, cyclic, and substituted). Good correlation and prediction results are obtained with typical average absolute errors between 5 and 15%. The model can be reliably used in the temperature range 0 to 100 °C. © 1985, American Chemical Society. All rights reserved.
