Abstract
Based on an extensive experimental program, this paper studies the behavior of high strength concrete and steel fiber reinforced high strength concrete under uniaxial and triaxial compression. Triaxial stress-strain relations and failure criteria are used to evaluate the effect of steel fiber reinforcement on the mechanical properties of high strength concrete in triaxial compression, which is found to be insignificant. © 2006 Elsevier Ltd.
