Abstract
OddJobs is a centrally hosted job information system providing job-related web services to registered university websites. In this paper, we outline the SOAP web services-based software architecture that has been developed for OddJobs, and summarize how universities can connect to OddJobs. The system is currently being launched at universities in Europe and the USA after extensive pilot testing at NJIT. © 2003 IEEE.
