Description
Figure 9.6: Transition from (a) a transient state to (b) a stable state. Initially, S and R are 0 and Q is 1. Then R changes to 1. This causes Q to become 0 and, after the Delta delay, q also becomes 0. This causes the output of the first NOR gate to become 1 and the circuit is stable.
