The Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE) is responsible for verifying, managing, monitoring, and reporting all non-financial data about the university to external governmental agencies, accreditation organizations, and other public/private entities. OIE reports statistical information on enrollment, degrees conferred, faculty, and research activity.

The Office actively engages in analysis, survey research, program assessment, and evaluation of teaching and learning outcomes. OIE provides information to senior management to aid in data-driven decision making, strategic planning, continuous improvement of academic programs, and the enrichment of the student experience at NJIT.

The Office of Institutional Effectiveness reports to the Provost and Senior Executive Vice President.
