Through its degree-granting programs of study as well as its responsibilities for teaching both basic and advanced courses that are part of the General Education Requirements (GER), the Humanities department is dedicated to enlightening students about the world and inculcating in them the ability to think critically and communicate effectively in their professional and personal lives.
