Abstract

In the last decade, nanotechnology has inspired in an extraordinary manner to the world and established an interdisciplinary trend between almost all branches of science and technology. It is expected that within no time this technological development will become an integral component of real-world design and innovations. This incorporation of nanotechnology has also impacted BioAnalytical sciences through the development of novel nano devices, nanotools, nanosensors and nanosorbents in analytical processes. As a result, bioanalytical science has played a very crucial rule in order to explore the nanoglobe. In general nanomaterials are nano-sized structures, with extraordinary physical and chemical properties, and exceptional large specific surface areas which have improved the detection sensitivity and miniaturize the devices in bioanalytical procedures. Also, these nanomaterials of various compositions, morphologies and functionalization have provided powerful tools for the bioanalysis systems. In this review, we have summarized recent progresses, prevailing techniques, applied formats, and future trends due to nanotechnology in BioAnalytical arena.
