On-chip plasmonic nano-slits array to alleviate the mass transport limitation in microfluidic biosensors

Abstract
We propose on-chip plasmonic nano-slits array structures that can change the mass transport in a surface microfliudic biosensing system by providing additional optical gradient forces to targeted analytes. Both optical and fluidic effects are investigated. © 2010 OSA/FiO/LS 2010.
