Abstract
The combination of lab-on-chip (LOC) technology and separation systems has been a rapidly progressing trend over the past few years, with innovative approaches and techniques. Efforts to design and fabricate miniaturized systems for chromatographic applications are currently more focused on the development of new analytical systems that display a number of superior properties such as faster analysis, better performance, low cost, and environmental sustainable.
