Abstract
An equilibrium theory is used to study pH parametric pumps. Simple graphical procedures for predicting the separation are presented. It is shown that a parapump with a series of columns packed alternately with cation and anion exchangers is capable of yielding very high separation factors. Experimental results are in qualitative agreement with theory. © 1980 by Marcel Dekker, Inc. All rights reserved.
