Abstract

1. 1. The kinetics of the reactions of poly-l-ornithine with 1-fluoro-, 1-bromo- and 1-chloro-dinitrobenzene have been investigated over the pH range 9.5-11.3. 2. 2. The reactivity of poly-l-ornithine was resolved into the individual reactivities of the helical and coil region amines. 3. 3. The order of the reactivity was found to be F ≫ Br ~ Cl. © 1981.
