Abstract
A new parametric pumping process for the separation of protein mixtures has been developed, based on cyclic variation of pH and electric field. The model system used is human hemoglobin plus human serum albumin on CM Sepharose ion exchanger. Experimental results are presented. They indicate that the process is a useful method for splitting proteins from each other. © 1982, American Chemical Society. All rights reserved.
