Abstract
The objective of this study was to examine the torsional behavior of reinforced fibrous concrete beams under pure torsion, and to develop a theoretical approach to analyze these beams. The addition of steel fibers to the concrete mix has been receiving more attention as a way of improving the properties of the concrete. This study has two objectives: 1) to observe the behavior of fibrous reinforced concrete in torsion, and 2) to present a realistic method for analysis of fibrous reinforced concrete in torsion.
