Abstract
The objective of this investigation was to compare the behavior of reinforced fiber concrete-steel composite beams with the conventional reinforced concrete-steel composite beams. The flexural behavior, load deflection, load rotation characteristics, shear behavior, and mode of failure for each beam were observed and the behavior of each reinforced concrete-steel composite beam was compared to the reinforced fiber concrete-steel composite beam.
