Abstract
A Fortran program for liquid level control in a water tank is presented in this paper. At short sampling time, a first order system adequately describes the process. At longer sampling periods the closed loop system response shows overshoot and oscillations. A first order system with a delay time of 2.0 seconds for the process, can predict such a behaviour. © 1986, Taylor & Francis Group, LLC. All rights reserved.
