Abstract
The overlapping envelopes of flexible transfer line robots allow continued processing of the products in case of robot failures. Markovian and simulation models are developed to estimate the effects of the different types of failure and repair processes on the performance of such lines. © 1983 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
