Abstract
Any thorough or comprehensive approach to asbestos hazard management includes the following: Phase I - Investigation of hazard potential; Phase II - Risk assessment; Phase III - Corrective action alternatives; Phase IV - Statement of findings. One of the most important aspects of an asbestos hazard management program is inspection. This article discusses these subjects along with population exposure, monitoring, training, abatement and decontamination, removal methods, and others.
