Abstract
An easy-to-fabricate hybrid plasmonic waveguide consisting of a semiconductor nanowire embedded inside a dielectric-coated V-shaped metal groove is shown to support strongly confined hybrid plasmonic modes avoiding alignment errors. © 2012 Optical Society of America.
