The SPFL-graph with pattern modeling of fingerprints

Abstract
In this paper, we represent a fingerprint by SPFL-graph with singular points, cores and deltas, as vertices; and fault lines as edges. We propose and prove some theories based on the SPFL-graphs, which are bipartite graphs - cores can only be directly connected to deltas. We also analyze the characteristic of the SPFL-graph so that it can be predicted the types of singular points in fingerprints. This is a total new idea to fingerprints which will give a new direction of research in this field.
