Abstract

The network-wide traffic responsive signal control in urban environment was discussed. The signal coordination was found to be represented by the offsets. It was found that any change in traffic assignment lead to changes of signal settings which in turn changed traffic assignment. A bi-level nonlinear mixed integer programming model was also presented.
