Abstract
The performance of minimum variance decorrelating (MVD) receiver in time-variant frequency selective Rayleigh fading channel is evaluated in this paper. Constrained to separate received signals from different propagation paths, the proposed MVD receiver provides distortionless output while removes inter-path interference (IPI) from each path's output. Furthermore, an adaptive channel response estimation algorithm is proposed to further improve the performance in time variant fading environment when employing maximum ratio combining (MRC).
