Abstract
The techniques presented to convert existing materials to the outcomes based assessment to improve engineering technology course delivery was discussed. The shift to outcomes based assessment would require teaching faculty to reassess the manner in which the approach to the preparation of course materials will center on the instructor to identify the skills the student had developed during the course. This assessment technique requires a shift in focus in the instructors thought process of course delivery as well as developing the tools to assess the learning style of the students. The objective is to prepare graduates with the technical skills that are necessary for profession and for the global infrastructure.
