Linear response calculations of lattice dynamics in strongly correlated systems

Abstract

A new method to study the lattice dynamics of strongly correlated materials at arbitrary wave vector q was developed. Such a method enables to compute the phonons for NiO and MnO in both para- and antiferromagnetic insulating states. It was found that the results in good agreement with the experiments.
