Shannon Entropy Applied to Productivity of Organizations

Abstract
The application of Shannon's entropy notion to organizations shows that there is a maximum per capita rate for decision-making that decreases for fundamental reasons as an organization grows. The result may be impaired productivity among knowledge managers, unless there is restructuring.
