Abstract

Integrated service of voice and data on a single network has received considerable attention recently. Various techniques have been proposed and analysed for multiplexing voice and data over a large bandwidth channel. Efficient channel allocation for voice and data on multihop radio network is what we are most concerned about. In this paper, we address the problem of determining optimal access policies for a tandem ISDN network by using Genetic Algorithm. Computer Simulation shows that this leads to the decision which is beneficial to the services of both voice and data in the network.
