Abstract
Environmental engineering such as advanced oxidation processes and other nonconventional environmental engineering techniques are used in the treatment of recalcitrant pollutants in wastewater. Drinking water problems, sustainability issues, and global climate changes are among the top concerns facing us today. This chapter discusses the application of conventional and nonconventional environmental treatment processes.
