Abstract
The support from the Howmet Aerospace Foundation Grant No. 223990 led to the development of digital resources for hands-on STEM that would be useful for student learning in an online world, compiled as “Tools for Teachers a STEM for Success Guide”. 100 teachers and over 500 students from 20 schools participated in the project. This article describes the project activities, results and lessons learned that allowed them to pivot from a face-to-face model to an online model as well as the benefits that a co-design strategy brings to broaden participation and inclusion in multi-stakeholder collaborative projects.
