Abstract
The present study provides a comprehensive assessment of innovative eco-efficient self-compacting concrete modified by waste perlite powder and/or recycled concrete aggregates. Functional properties of designed mixtures are described by the mechanical performance, durability measures, and resistance to high temperatures. Environmental impact is studied by life cycle assessment analysis, which results together with costs analysis are further used as input parameters of multi-criteria decision-making technique, TOPSIS. Obtained results refer to the beneficial effect of the combined used waste perlite powder and recycled concrete aggregate in terms of environmental and financial savings while mechanical parameters were either enhanced or not affected significantly.
