Abstract
The olfactory system has shown differential fMRI signal responses to odorants. Data from an fMRI experiment using odorant stimuli was analyzed using the Kalman filter to extract these differential responses. The results of this method make no implication as to the expected response at a location and allow for investigation of the fMRI response over the entire experimental time course.
