Abstract
The managed micro-mobility of mobile ad-hoc relaying stations (MARS) was discussed with respect to integrated wireless systems. The micro-mobility of the MARS was applied to the scenario where the mobile hosts (MH) are primarily static. The basic strategies for primary and secondary movement in cases where the moving speed is low and the moving distance is small, were also analyzed. It was shown that various mobility management strategies may also be applied in other ad hoc networks, such as the self-reconfigurable sensor networks.
