Abstract
The impact of pedagogy and instructional design upon the cognitive systems of learners, knowledge transfer, and leaning system was discussed. It was observed that the learning must be built into the process, by changing the ways in which project groups work together. It also stresses active participation on the part of both students and instructors. Knowledge is viewed as a social construct, and therefore the educational process is facilitated by social interaction in an environment that facilitates peer interaction, evaluation and cooperation.
