Abstract
Poly(butylene terephthalate) electrospun fibers where analyzed by Thermally Stimulated Current (TSC) technique. A spontaneous current was released at near glass transition indicating dipole relaxation. Molecular orientation was also probed by birefringence analysis. Electrospun fibers showed a high level of birefringence, which extinguished upon melting.
