Computer simulation of hippocampal neurons

Abstract
The authors present the development of a mathematical model of hippocampal pyramidal cells to study the properties of CA3 neurons. The model is based on standard cable equations. This model was used to simulate the action potential of a single cell as the accommodation phenomenon. The simulation of voltage clamp experiments of CA3 cells was also performed.
