Abstract
The objective of this Letter is to examine the utility of multispectral video data to supplement image data from satellite sensors in the environmental assessment of New Jersey nearshore waters. Due to the complexity of environmental conditions in nearshore waters, such applications of remote sensing technology may require a wide range of sensors. It was concluded that multispec-tral video data are a low cost and useful supplement-particularly when imaging of the water surface from satellite sensors is prohibited by weather conditions. © 1992 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
