Abstract

We examine the hydrogen spectrum in intense magnetic fields beyond the Paschen-Back region. Unlike in the Zeeman and Paschen-Back regions, the perturbations from the normal hydrogen spectrum increase as the magnetic field decreases! © 1992 Plenum Publishing Corporation.
