An accurate FET non-linear element model

Abstract
An accurate model has been developed for a FET Non-linear Element based on a modified cold FET model and measured S-parameter data. The FET Non-linear Element is a versatile device used in microwave signal processing. It has proven particularly successful as a broad band linearizer for TWTAs, and GaAs FET and BJT solid state amplifiers. This paper reports on a technique used to accurately model NLE characteristics.
